Khes

Recycle/reuse were in vogue in India much before they became buzzwords. The warp uses new yarn whereas the weft uses yarn from old saris torn into strips. This slate grey Khes is edged on the border with a delicate white Pom-Pom lace and a white paisley on black Ajrakh border. The pallu is further enhanced by a cream and black paisley Ajrakh on madder red. The sari is complemented by a Buddha face Kalamkari hand block cotton blouse piece in red.
