Saris and Dupattas to be dry-cleaned only as the fabric used is delicate and many of the colous used are natural vegetable dyes which have a tendency to run if hand washed or machine washed.

Ironing should be done on the reverse to ease out creases and to avoid singing the zari, satin or silk ribbons.
